In a revealing interview with ELLE, LISA opened up about her feelings upon being cast by the acclaimed White Lotus creator, Mike White, whom she lauded as “a genius.” Her admiration for his work reflects her dedication to this new chapter in her career.

“I think I cried [when I got the role]. I was surrounded by my friends and my mum’s friends, along with my mother, but I chose not to disclose that I had auditioned for it,” LISA shared candidly. “This is my very first acting project, so I experienced a mix of excitement and anxiety. Initially, I felt joy, but then reality hit me, and I thought, ‘Oh, wait, how am I going to deliver this?’ It’s a thrilling yet daunting challenge for me.”

Although acting is a new venture for LISA, she has identified some parallels to her experiences in music videos. She expressed, “It’s pretty new to me, but I think it’s akin to shooting music videos. The storytelling aspect and the performance element are quite similar. I’m genuinely excited for my fans to witness this new side of me.”

Filming in Thailand has been a deeply personal experience for LISA, providing her with the chance to reconnect with her cultural roots and indulge in the deliciousness of Thai cuisine on a daily basis. “I believe viewers are going to develop a deeper appreciation for Thailand,” LISA remarked, highlighting her desire to share her homeland’s charm and culinary delights with the world.
