The rankings are determined based on a multi-metric consumption model calculated by Luminate, which includes album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Specifically, one unit equals one album sale, 10 tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported streams and 1,250 paid/subscription streams of songs from an album.
