Lil Scrappy Sets the Record Straight on DNA Test Remarks

Recently, Lil Scrappy confirmed he is expecting a child with a woman named Shakira. While engaging with fans about his fifth child during a livestream, he made a lighthearted comment about needing DNA tests for all his children. However, the delivery of his message didn’t convey a joking tone. He stated, “Of course, I’m gon’ get a DNA, I need to get it on all of ’em. The fk. Y’all think people so perfect man…y’all look at men and think men are horrible and the women are perfect. Anybody that think that y’all are fking dum dums,” which sparked some backlash. In a later response on social media, he attempted to clarify his earlier comments by writing, “I was joking dayum,” with laughing emojis to emphasize his intent.

Despite his attempts at humor, it seems that his ex-wife Bambi did not appreciate the joke. The former couple shares three children all under the age of 10, and he also has a daughter, Emani, from a previous relationship with Erica Dixon. Although Bambi did not directly address her ex-husband’s comments, she took to Instagram on November 4 to share some family moments, captioning the post with “One thing for certain #TheyMine #Bambinos.” This post seemed to underscore her feelings about the situation without explicitly calling him out.

In a follow-up video where he apologized, Lil Scrappy reiterated that the comment about DNA testing was meant to be humorous. He expressed concern that people were taking his words too seriously, stating that he needed to clarify his intentions. He emphasized,

“…I know my babies are my babies. You know what I’m saying? They look like me, they act like me when I was a baby. And they mine, so I don’t do all that. But I was on Instagram and I was talking sh*t to people that was talking sh*t to me on live or whatever. Yeah, don’t take that so seriously. Y’all see me with my kids, y’all see how I do with my kids, how my kids do with me. That’s not even a real thought of getting them tested.”

This statement highlights his love and commitment to his children, countering any doubts that might have arisen from his earlier comments.

Nevertheless, Lil Scrappy mentioned that if he felt the need to conduct DNA tests on his children, he wouldn’t hesitate to do so. He confirmed that he plans to get a DNA test for “the new baby” with Shakira, although he has no doubts about the child’s paternity.

Lil Scrappy Responds to Controversial Comments on Black Trump Supporters

Just days before Donald Trump’s anticipated return to the White House on November 6, Scrappy expressed his strong feelings about Black individuals supporting the president-elect. He went on a passionate rant on social media just days before Election Day, sharing his frustrations.

“You not gone be Black to me. Don’t try to shake my hand, I’m not going to shake your hand. I’m gon pray for you. That’s what imma do, and if something was to ever happen to your kids one day and the police do it, and they get immunity. I’m not coming to march for you; imma pray for you and your family because you are the reason why it happened,” Scrappy stated on October 28. His comments sparked significant conversation around the responsibilities of community and political affiliations.

In his subsequent apology video, Lil Scrappy seemed to retract his earlier statements regarding revoking anyone’s “Black card.” He acknowledged his mistake, saying, “I shouldn’t have said that,” and expressed that he should have focused on encouraging voter participation instead of making divisive comments.

Meanwhile, Bambi has yet to publicly respond to her ex-husband’s apology. Over the weekend, she stirred up the internet with the announcement of her new children’s book, which seemed to be a direct reaction to Scrappy’s recent revelations about his unborn child, showcased through baby shower footage.
