Finneas Discusses Bittersweet Touring Without Billie Eilish
Finneas Shares Insights on His Solo Tour Journey Apart from Billie Eilish
The talented Finneas is candidly discussing his decision to embark on a solo tour, marking a significant moment in his career as he steps out from the shadow of his sister, Billie Eilish. Having toured alongside Billie for nearly the entirety of her rise to fame, Finneas now finds himself at a crossroads. With his own solo career gaining momentum, he made the difficult choice to forgo joining her on the highly anticipated Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour.
This year, Finneas has performed at a few solo shows, but he’s gearing up for a comprehensive world tour that will commence in January 2025. In a recent interview, he reflected on the unique experience of not touring alongside Billie, offering fans a deeper understanding of his emotional journey.
Discover More About Finneas’ Tour Experience…
“It’s been a very bittersweet experience for me,” Finneas revealed during his appearance on Jake Shane‘s Therapuss podcast. “I made the choice to pursue my solo career knowing that I couldn’t stretch myself too thin by being part of both tours simultaneously. I didn’t want to hinder her touring opportunities, and I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing her performances several times. They are absolutely phenomenal. Billie is thriving, and while I’ve jumped on stage for a song or two, I genuinely believe she’s delivering the most exceptional show of her career.”
“I stay in touch with her frequently,” he continued, elaborating on their close bond. “Often, she’s busy focusing on her well-being, engaging in physical therapy, and resting like an athlete. I check in on her to ensure she’s managing everything alright. I’ve always expressed that if she ever needs some company on the road, I’m more than willing to drop everything and join her, just to spend time together.”
