Here’s What Went Down At The Spirit Airlines Check-In At The Baltimore Airport

According to TMZ, a video obtained by the outlet and published on Friday, May 31, shows a man approaching an employee at a Spirit verify-in. The outlet adds that it is unclear what prompted the interaction. However, the buyer appeared pretty upset.

As the footage continues, the man seems to square up with the male employee prior to 3 other individuals join the altercation. Fists are then noticed flying and the 3 workers at some point handle to tackle the man to the ground although simultaneously kicking him.

The video concludes with 1 employee holding the man on the ground as the other individuals taunt him to get up. One of the workers even throws an additional jab at what seems to be the man’s head prior to walking off.

Here’s What’s Going To Happen To The Employees

According to the outlet, the Maryland Transportation Authority responded to the incident which reportedly occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 28. The organization confirmed that 5 individuals have been involved in the incident, although 1 “suffered minor injuries.”

Meanwhile, Spirit Airlines has reportedly confirmed that the 4 workers have been not straight employed by the organization. They have been reportedly “employees of a third-party service” utilized by the airline. However, the males have now been “suspended by that company pending an investigation.”

“We do not tolerate violence of any kind, and we will take appropriate action as necessary following the completion of the vendor’s investigation,” a spokesperson for the airline reportedly stated, per The Baltimore Banner.

The outlet adds that the Maryland Transportation Authority has not released information and facts about what prompted the altercation or the identities of these involved.

However, The Baltimore Banner reports that authorities did offer “information about how to file criminal charges” to these involved.

A Mother &amp Daughter Previously Went Viral At The Spirit Airlines Gate

This is not the initial time footage has gone viral of workers and consumers throwin’ hands at a Spirit Airlines desk. As The Shade Room previously reported, in February 2023, a 17-year-old girl and her mother got frisky with workers.

Apparently, the girls have been told their carry-on luggage was as well heavy, and they necessary to spend an further charge.

From there, tensions rose and reportedly left 1 bystander yelling for safety.
