Kent, who is 34 years old, addressed a fan inquiry about whether she had spoken to James since the incident occurred, indicating her concern and willingness to discuss the situation publicly.
“I’ve not had any direct conversations with him,” she stated. “However, I reached out to Ally. I checked in on her and she responded with a text back. That’s really all I’m willing to share about this matter right now,” she added, highlighting her support for Lewber during this challenging time.
Later, Kent responded to another listener’s query regarding her thoughts on Kennedy and Lewber’s relationship, which has been ongoing since 2022, showcasing her perspective on their dynamic amidst the current turmoil.
“I don’t have many thoughts on it,” Kent remarked, emphasizing her focus on her own life and family.
“What’s interesting about getting older is that you become more focused on your own life and responsibilities. When something happens in someone else’s relationship, you instinctively want to check in, like, ‘Hey, how are you doing? Are you okay? I’m here for you if you need anything.’ However, beyond that initial concern, I don’t dwell much on others’ relationships because I’m too preoccupied with my own family and its well-being,” she elaborated.

Kent stressed that her lack of engagement with Kennedy and Lewber’s situation does not indicate a lack of care. Instead, she pointed out that as one matures and takes on family responsibilities, the focus naturally shifts to what is occurring within one’s own household.
“I reached out to Ally, and I’m not going to disclose anything beyond that,” she concluded, reiterating her commitment to respecting their privacy during this tumultuous time.
On December 12, Kennedy was taken into custody at his Los Angeles residence due to a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence, raising concerns among fans and followers alike.
Law enforcement sources have informed TMZ that the Burbank Police Department responded to a residence in the area on Tuesday evening after receiving reports of a dispute involving him and a woman, which led to the arrest.
According to reports, a witness observed Kennedy and the woman engaged in a heated argument, with allegations that he grabbed her at one point. However, police officers reportedly did not observe any visible injuries on her during their investigation.
Kennedy has been charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and was subsequently released on a $20,000 bail. Formal charges are currently under review by the Burbank City Attorney’s office, which will determine the next steps in this legal matter.

In related news, it was recently announced that Vanderpump Rules has been renewed for Season 12, but it will feature an entirely new cast, indicating a significant shift in the show’s dynamics.
During her Amazon Live session, Kent mentioned that she believes her infamous fourth wall moment contributed significantly to Bravo’s decision to reboot the series with a fresh cast.
Fans will recall that the VPR cast faced turmoil following the scandal surrounding Tom Sandoval cheating on his long-term girlfriend Ariana Madix with Rachel Leviss. This incident shifted many dynamics within the group, leading to various changes in alliances and friendships.
The drama escalated during the Season 11 finale, where Kent famously broke the fourth wall, confronting Madix about her decision not to engage with her ex, which sparked significant discussion among the show’s audience.
“I often question whether I should have kept my thoughts to myself — like, if a producer hadn’t intervened and told me that I could voice the things I said off-camera about filming — would the show have continued as it was? Or was I just the final nail in the coffin? I guess we’ll never really know,” Kent reflected, pondering the impact of her actions on the series’ future.
She further stated that she had started to accept the idea that Vanderpump Rules — or at least the version of it that fans adored — was coming to an end after her pivotal moment during the finale.
“I’ve discussed this multiple times, and I apologize if I’m repetitive. I felt like I began mourning Vanderpump Rules the moment I spoke out during that finale,” Kent stated. “So not only did I realize it was nearing its end, but I also felt that the moment we started filming Season 11, it would likely be the last,” she expressed with a sense of closure.
“It just seemed like everything was broken. It felt very broken. So I’ve come to terms with it. I feel quite at peace with how things have unfolded,” she concluded, reflecting on the emotional journey surrounding the show’s evolution.
