?Houseless, never homeless. Welcome back Ke?ala Coral Ventimiglia 1.23.25,? Jarah began her heartfelt Instagram post.
Jarah continued by sharing her family’s harrowing experience: ?On January 7th, my family & I evacuated due to the Palisades Fire, resulting in the loss of both our home and everything we owned, including another house that was under construction and set to be our new home. At 38 weeks pregnant, I had previously faced an evacuation during the Franklin Fire just weeks earlier. I view this as a gift, as it allowed me a practice run for what was to come. I am forever thankful that we evacuated during the daytime, which gave us a sense of preparedness instead of being caught off guard in the middle of the night.?
Jarah expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support that has kept her family safe in these challenging weeks.
?My family & I are together, feeling happy, healthy, and safe, which is what truly matters. We are profoundly grateful to the many heroes who bravely battled the fires and continue to care for those affected in the aftermath. The path to rebuilding and healing will be long for many, but we feel a sense of optimism and excitement as we embrace this fresh start,? she shared. ?A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported our family during this time?friends, family, my birthing team, hospital staff, generous companies, the LA community, and beyond. Your love and kindness mean the world to us.?
Jarah concluded her message with a gentle reminder: ?Please allow us this time and space to nest with our newborn during this delicate phase. We already have more than enough, and we will share updates at our own pace. Sending you Aloha + Light always, Jarah Milo Ke?a Duke.?
