Ratt’s M3 Festival Band Lineup Unveiled by Pearcy and DeMartini
In an exciting announcement, Ratt’s iconic members, Stephen Pearcy and Warren DeMartini, have unveiled the complete lineup for their highly anticipated M3 reunion. They have also expressed a strong desire to create new music and perform additional shows in the near future. During a candid interview on Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk, the duo shared that it was their first conversation since confirming the reunion plans. Pearcy and DeMartini are set to headline the final night of M3 on May 4, following electrifying performances from Sebastian Bach and David Lee Roth. This event will mark their first live performance together since 2018, making it a must-see for fans.
Joining them on stage will be former Ratt and Quiet Riot guitarist Carlos Cavazo, former Ratt and Rough Cutt bassist Matt Thorr, and former Slaughter drummer Blas Elias. Notably, both Thorr and Elias currently tour with Pearcy’s solo band, ensuring a powerhouse lineup. This collaboration brings a wealth of experience and talent, promising an unforgettable performance for long-time fans and newcomers alike.
During the interview, DeMartini praised Cavazo’s contributions, noting, “He’s a good listener, and there’s a comfort there that he knows what to do. We just have a similar standard, I think.” This camaraderie and mutual respect among the musicians highlight the strong chemistry that fans can expect to see during their performances. With Cavazo’s history with the band, his involvement adds depth to their reunion.

Understanding the Decision to Not Label the Reunion as Ratt
Pearcy and DeMartini addressed the absence of classic-era Ratt bassist Juan Croucier and drummer Bobby Blotzer from the M3 reunion lineup. They provided insight into their decision to refrain from billing their performance as a Ratt reunion. “It’s not about Ratt. It’s about the legacy of our music, and who better to deliver it?” Pearcy explained. He emphasized the importance of honoring their musical heritage while acknowledging that the complete original lineup is not present, particularly the late guitarist Robbin Crosby. They wanted to ensure that the performance feels authentic and enjoyable, avoiding any potential pitfalls.
Additionally, both members revealed that since the M3 reunion was announced, they have received several other performance offers and are currently considering new opportunities for future shows. They are also eager to explore the creative process of writing new material together, which is a significant part of their artistic legacy.
“Obviously new music is what I’m thinking, always,” Pearcy stated. “If Warren’s writing, I’m in there. But M3 is definitely the perfect place to kick it off.” This enthusiasm for new projects indicates that fans can expect exciting developments from the band in the coming months.
