Prior to their performance, Chilli reminisced about their previous appearance in Times Square, reflecting on the poignant memory of their late sister, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.

“The last time we were in Times Square felt bittersweet. We lost Lisa, and while it was incredible to celebrate her, it was heartbreaking knowing she wasn’t there with us,” she expressed in an interview with TMZ.

She went on to share that even after all these years, they still experience pre-concert jitters, yet their passion for performing remains unwavering!

“When you love what you do, the fans can feel it, you know? When we step on stage, we’re filled with joy, and I absolutely cherish that,” she revealed.
