I wanted to create an album that reflects what I would have made if I had left Take That at this stage in my life, equipped with the knowledge I now possess. This particular song encapsulates that vision perfectly.” He candidly admitted, “Unfortunately and fortunately, pop songs surfaced along the way too. I find myself thinking: ‘Ah, damn – a hit!’”
