In an Instagram Stories video, Trista openly addressed the rumors, stating, “Do you remember when months ago, it was, I feel like in the spring, people were speculating that I was either having a nervous breakdown, that I was dead, or that Ryan and I were getting a divorce, because he posted something that everyone thought was cryptic?” She clarified that her husband’s posts were misinterpreted and not as cryptic as they seemed. Instead, she emphasized that she was simply away filming Special Forces, which is a physically demanding show that pushes contestants to their limits.
