She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her fans, who have provided her with unwavering support and comfort throughout the past five years, a journey filled with memorable moments and shared experiences.
“Our show premiered on September 9, 2019, thanks to the support of some incredible friends,” she shared at the start of the special episode. “In just over five and a half years, we have produced an astounding 999 episodes. I can hardly believe that we are now celebrating our 1000th episode. Throughout this journey, we have encountered numerous extraordinarily talented individuals, countless big stars, and truly inspiring everyday heroes. Together, we have fostered a vibrant community, offering support through numerous personal ups and downs. We navigated a pandemic together, sent our audience to exciting places like London and Australia, and even explored the NBC gift shop right here at 30 Rock.”
She added, “Over these 1000 episodes, we have shared laughter, shed tears over beautiful stories, sang together, danced, celebrated victories, and even faced challenges in friendly competitions. I’ve experienced significant losses – and that’s perfectly fine — but throughout this journey, we found solace in one another.
