2025 Happy Endings North American Tour Dates Announced by Garbage

On Tuesday, March 25, the iconic band Garbage revealed the highly anticipated dates for their first U.S. tour in nearly ten years. This extensive 31-city journey, titled the Happy Endings Tour, is set to commence on September 3 at the renowned Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando. The tour will make stops in vibrant cities such as Atlanta, Nashville, Cleveland, Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, Denver, Seattle, Vancouver, and San Francisco, culminating the tour on November 2 at the Van Buren in Phoenix.

This exciting fall tour is strategically timed to coincide with the release of the band’s eighth studio album, Let All That We Imagine Be the Light, which is set to launch on May 30. Fans eager to attend the tour can purchase tickets starting April 4 from various outlets. In a recent statement, lead singer Shirley Manson shared that this new album serves as a sequel to their 2021 release, No Gods No Masters, and promises a shift from the previous album’s intensity to a more hopeful and uplifting perspective.

Manson elaborated on the thematic evolution of their music, stating, “Our last album was extremely forthright. It was born out of frustration and outrage, embodying a kind of scorched earth, angry quality.” She continued to express her desire for this new record to channel a different energy: one that is more constructive and forward-looking. “I envisioned us emerging from the underground with searchlights, forging our way into the future,” she explained, emphasizing the importance of a positive outlook.

Elaborating further, she conveyed the core message of the album: “Searching for life, searching for love, and seeking all the good things in the world that feel scarce right now was my guiding principle during the creation of this record. When darkness surrounds us, it’s essential to seek out the light, the love, and the goodness that still exists.” This heartfelt perspective reflects a significant shift in the band’s narrative and artistic direction.

The band, which includes original members such as producer/drummer Butch Vig and guitarist/keyboardists Duke Erikson and Steve Marker, recently concluded a tour in South America and has scheduled two performances in Mexico in early April. However, they had to cancel additional dates in 2024 after Manson required “surgery and rehabilitation” due to an undisclosed injury sustained while touring in Europe earlier this year.
