2025 Sphere Residency: Set List and Video from Dead and Company

Dead & Company kicked off their highly anticipated 2025 Las Vegas Sphere residency last night, seamlessly blending several crowd favorites from their 2024 residency with an exciting live debut and innovative visual elements throughout their performance. This residency promises to bring fans an unforgettable experience filled with nostalgia and new surprises alike.

For those eager to relive the magic, check out the videos from the performance and the complete set list detailed below.

In a refreshing twist right from the start, Dead & Company opened their set with a lively cover of the Spencer Davis Group’s classic “Gimme Some Lovin’,” a song they had not performed since their formation in 2015. This track, however, was a staple in the Grateful Dead’s repertoire during the vibrant ’80s and ’90s, making its return a nostalgic highlight for long-time fans.

Experience the Enhanced Visuals in Dead & Company’s Sphere Performance

Significant enhancements to the band’s performance were evident in the visual presentation, as reported by Billboard. The beloved Dancing Bears during the classic “Bertha” received a modern digital makeover, evolving into a vibrant display of multicolor pixels that animatedly depicted the band performing live. Furthermore, another captivating visual during “Don’t Ease Me In” drew a euphoric reaction from the audience: an array of vintage televisions that ascended toward the Sphere’s ceiling, culminating in one massive TV dramatically tumbling down.

More captivating visuals included a troupe of six masked performers, donned in whimsical costumes that resembled a human version of Teletubbies. They struck various quirky poses while holding a television displaying live footage of the band. Additionally, the iconic Uncle Sam made a playful appearance, riding a motorcycle through a quirky, Dead-ified version of Las Vegas, complete with features like the “Terra-Pin Bowl” bowling alley and a whimsical sign for “Shakedown Street.”
