Renowned band Simple Minds is set to embark on an exciting headlining North American tour, featuring iconic ’80s bands Modern English and Soft Cell. Fans can find a comprehensive list of tour cities and dates detailed below.
In an official statement, Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It’s been a while, but absence makes the heart grow fonder. Simple Minds are ecstatic about the opportunity to tour extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada this upcoming spring.” This excitement sets the stage for a memorable experience for both the band and their dedicated fans.
The tour kicks off on May 16 in Ridgefield, Washington, and wraps up on June 22 in Noblesville, Indiana, with scheduled stops in major cities including Chicago, Denver, Toronto, Phoenix, and the Houston and Los Angeles areas. Artist presales will commence at 10 AM local time on Wednesday, January 29, followed by local presales on Thursday, January 30, also at 10 AM local time.

Celebrate the New Tour with the Expanded Reissue of Once Upon a Time
Originally featured exclusively on the The Breakfast Club soundtrack, “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” has been reintroduced in an exciting new expanded reissue of Once Upon a Time. This release now includes the beloved hit, and fans can catch Simple Minds performing it live this Wednesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Reflecting on this milestone, Kerr shares, ?Hindsight is a glorious thing! Forty years on, it feels right for Simple Minds to include ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)‘ in this classy new nine-track edition of Once Upon a Time.? This sentiment showcases the band?s journey and evolution over the decades.
Additionally, Simple Minds are at the center of a new documentary titled Simple Minds: Everything Is Possible, currently available for streaming in the UK on BBC iPlayer.
