Metro Boomin, Gunna & Additional React To Kendrick Lamar’s New Drake Diss
Metro Boomin, Gunna, Jay Rock and a lot of much more have shared early reactions to Kendrick Lamar‘s newest diss aimed at Drake as their ongoing rap beef after once more finds itself at the center of Hip Hop discourse.
On Tuesday (April 30), just a small more than a month following Metro, Future and K.Dot’s “Like That” set in motion 1 of the most higher-profile feuds in current years, the Compton native released “euphoria” in response to Drizzy’s “Push Ups” and “Taylor Produced Freestyle” rebuttals.

Soon after a mellow, dreamy intro in which Kendrick refers to a “pathetic master manipulator” who is “paranoid,” “spiraling” and “fabricating stories on the household front,” the song kicks into life with a sudden beat switch.
From there, the Pulitzer Prize winner throws jab following jab at the six God and even accuses him of sending a cease and desist letter in an try to have “Like That” taken down.
Drake Has Been Waiting For Kendrick Lamar Beef To Explode For ten Years, Says Akademiks

Context: OVO Chubbs is Drake’s longtime bodyguard. He not too long ago taunted Kendrick following he dissed Drake on “Like That.”

Context: Drake is rumored to have had plastic surgery on his stomach, which Rick Ross referenced on his current diss song “Champagne Moments.”

Context: Drake accused TDE founder Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith of extorting Kendrick on “Push Ups.”

Context: Drake has a close partnership with Sexyy Red, who he has even referred to as his “rightful wife.”

Context: A nod to Pusha T’s “Exodus 23:1” exactly where he mocked Drake’s Young Income deal: “Contract all fucked up/ I guess that implies you all fucked up/ You signed to 1 n-gga that signed to a further n-gga/ That is signed to 3 n-ggas, now that is terrible luck.”

Context: The existence of Drake’s son Adonis was famously exposed on Pusha T’s 2018 diss track “The Story of Adidon.”
