Joni Mitchell Announces Volume Four of Archival Series


Joni Mitchell will launch the following installment of her archival sequence, Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 4: The Asylum Years (1976-1980), on Oct. 4.

Highlights from this assortment embrace recordings and alternate takes from three of Mitchell’s albums, Hejira, Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter and Mingus, plus stay cuts from numerous excursions, together with Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue. It will probably be launched as a 6-CD/digital model, in addition to a 4-LP model that consists of Mitchell’s “personal favorites” from the 6-CD model. Both may be pre-ordered now.

An entire monitor itemizing is obtainable beneath, in addition to the primary tune from the set, “Intro to Coyote / Coyote,” recorded on the Forum in Montreal, Canada on Dec. 4, 1975.

Joni Mitchell’s Upcoming Plans

Mitchell is at the moment scheduled to carry out two exhibits on the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Oct. 19 and 20, that includes particular “Joni Jam” company.
