Dave Navarro’s Clearest Hint that Jane’s Addiction Won’t Return


Dave Navarro issued one other apology for the Jane’s Addiction implosion final week – and provided his clearest trace but that the band received’t return.

His restoration from an extended sickness had paved the way in which for the unique lineup’s first tour in a long time, with new music recorded and the potential of an album on the way in which.

But singer Perry Farrell’s public meltdown on Sept. 13 – when he assaulted Navarro onstage and introduced the present to a sudden finish – compelled the group again on hiatus after a handful of appearances.

In a brand new social media put up, Navarro referred to newest single “True Love,” which was launched after the tour’s cancellation.

“I am proud of the work we did on this song but I am equally saddened by the fact that you will likely never hear it live,” he wrote – though the band carried out it in 2023 whereas Navarro was nonetheless too sick to seem.

Jane’s Addiction Hope Perry Farrell Finds Help

Following the official tour cancellation announcement, Navarro, bassist Eric Avery and drummer Stephen Perkins expressed their regret in an announcement.

“We deeply regret that we are not able to come through for all our fans who have already bought tickets,” they mentioned. “We can see no solution that would either ensure a safe environment on stage or reliably allow us to deliver a great performance on a nightly basis. Our hearts are broken.”

They confirmed the transfer was a results of “a continuing pattern of behavior and the mental health difficulties of our singer Perry Farrell” and added: “We hope that he will find the help he needs.”
