Chingy Responds To Backlash Over Republican LGBT Event
Chingy‘s impending appearance at the Log Cabin Republicans’ upcoming Red White & Rock live performance has gotten some criticism, however he’s not backing down.
The occasion, placed on by “the nation’s original and largest organization representing gay conservatives and allies,” is occurring on September 29 and is ready to function Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls and nation rocker Jesse Keith Whitley, amongst others.
More controversially, Donald Trump Jr. and his (possibly ex-)girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle may also be there.
Baller Alert posted about Chingy’s look on the invoice, and the rapper himself jumped into the feedback to reply to disillusioned and confused followers. Check it out under.

“I’m a say this one time,” he started. “My job is to perform and get paid to perform, not caurr [sic] about politics. Now y’all find [something] else to do with yurr [sic] time.”
After a number of commenters speculated that he was performing on the occasion, the place ticket costs begin at $1,000, as a result of he was “down bad” financially, Chingy adopted up.
“You can’t be down bad when you just bought a 500k house,” he shot again. “Those people don’t hate me because they love my music. Music isn’t racist and that’s how I play it… I’m a performers w[h]ether theses [sic] people political homosexual or whatever they all love music… [M]y job as an artist is to perform and make timeless music.”
Chingy most just lately made headlines final month when, seemingly out of nowhere, Drakepraised the St. Louis rapper’s 2003 hit “One Call Away” – but it surely was unclear if Drizzy was being critical or sarcastic.
Taking to his Instagram Story on August 18, Drizzy shared a screenshot of a few of the music’s lyrics:
“The next day, I’m with the fellas at the cage playin’ ball/ Here she come with her friends, they posted up on the wall/ Now I’m showin’ out, tryna dunk, tryna dribble/ Break fast through the middle just to see her smile and giggle.”
Underneath it, he wrote: “Nah Chingy I felt this like why do I play better when the tings aren’t watching you really struck a chord with this one goated lyric.”
He then had extra to say, posting the screenshot a second time and including: “Also, the face you said tryna dribble like off that bar we know you were ass at ball but your ting showed up and you started doing too much like this real af you are a guy for that bar.”
