Black Coffee, Chase & Status & Fisher Lead 2024 DJ Awards Winners
After a 4 yr hiatus, the DJ Awards returned Wednesday (Oct. 2) in Ibiza, with a flurry of DJs and trade execs being honored within the ceremony at island venue Chinois. Awards had been handed out by the hosts of the present, Jaguar of BBC Radio 1 and presenter Katie Knight.
The awards had been awarded to artists making music particularly genres, with Black Coffee profitable within the Afro class, beating out seven different producers together with Major League DJz and Francis Mercier. English titans Chase & Status received within the drum & bass class, style icon Sven Vath one within the techno class and Ukrainian producer Miss Monique received within the breakthrough artist class.

Malachiii” received for Ibiza monitor of the summer time, Defected Croatia received for greatest international pageant, Gospel Club NYC received the Eye on USA award, David Guetta’s longstnading F**Okay Me Im Famous / Futurerave occasions received for Best Ibiza Party, German trio Keinemusik received for the What’s Hot Global award, Cafe Mambo’s Javier Anadon received the Lifetime Achievement Award and Michael Bibi’s One Life marketing campaign for most cancers consciousness received the Play It Back award. These trade awards had been voted on by dance trade execs from the Association For Electronic Music (AFEM).
2024 marked the twenty third yr for the DJ Awards, with the ceremony based in 1998 by Ibiza residents José Pascual and Lenny Krarup. The Awards are actually beneath new possession after being taken over earlier this yr by Andy Grant.
