A bunch of kayakers who purchased stranded in powerful waters in Maryland wished a helicopter to swoop in and rescue them … and the daring mission is all on video.

Footage reveals a Maryland State Police Aviation Command helicopter airlifting 4 kayakers to safety Sunday after they purchased trapped in a rocky area of the Potomac River.

The chopper lowered a rescue basket all the best way all the way down to the stranded kayakers, then hoisted them once more up and took them to safety on the river’s shore.

MSPAC says emergency responders from Maryland and Virginia have been unable to rescue the kayakers by boat ensuing from swift shifting water and rocky terrain … nevertheless the helicopter rescue crew purchased the job completed.

Appears identical to the rescue mission went off with out a hitch … which isn’t always a given … and MSPAC says the kayakers did NOT require medical consideration
