‘This is Not a Long Science Fiction Series’


Even although Silo Season 2 comes out in November, creator Graham Yost already has an ending in thoughts for the hit Apple TV+ sequence. Silo Season 1 solely covers about half of Howey’s first novel within the sequence. Though Yost guarantees the present won’t overstay its welcome, he cares extra about delivering in “logical time” than placing a particular quantity on when it’ll wrap up.

“That doesn’t mean it’s going to be three seasons, but it’s not going to be 10,” Yost added. “It is our goal to answer questions and not frustrate the audience, but deliver things in a logical time so that when our characters find something out, that’s when the audience finds out.”

Silo stars Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie and Iain Glen. Steve Zahn joins the forged for Season 2.

The Apple TV+ synopsis reads: “Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.”
