Dr. Phil Reveals His Stance on Presidential Candidates
During a revealing interview with Piers Morgan, Dr. Phil made it clear that he is not offering his endorsement to Donald Trump for the presidency. He described his address at the rally as an “act of rebellion,” explaining that he was compelled to take this step after Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign allegedly disregarded his numerous requests for a conversation. His frustration was palpable as he expressed the feeling of being overlooked despite his persistent outreach.
“It was an act of rebellion on my part because I requested 25 plus times to speak to Kamala Harris and never got so much as a yes, no, maybe. And just wouldn’t agree to an interview,” Dr. Phil stated candidly.
Dr. Phil further elaborated that he would have no hesitation in delivering the same speech he presented at Trump’s rally if given the opportunity to speak at a rally for VP Kamala Harris. He even candidly admitted that he would simply replace Trump’s name with hers in the speech, highlighting his commitment to the message he wished to convey, regardless of the political figure involved.
“I offered to give the identical speech at a Harris rally, and I said I will cross out Trump’s name, write in Harris’ name, and give the identical speech at a Harris rally,” he revealed.
Continuing his story, Dr. Phil recounted that Harris’ team initially reached out to him to confirm his willingness to deliver the same speech at her rally in Washington, D.C. They appeared receptive to the idea at first, prompting him to prepare a transcript to facilitate the event. However, after they realized his sincerity, he was met with silence, leaving him disappointed and without the opportunity he had hoped for.

The online community had a lot to say, with social media users passionately expressing their opinions in The Shade Room’s comment section. Many criticized Dr. Phil for appearing overly entitled regarding VP Harris’ availability, while others lambasted him for seemingly aligning himself with Trump, simply because he felt snubbed by Harris.

Dr. Phil Discusses His Perspective on Trump’s Policies
According to a report by Variety, Dr. Phil emphasized that his remarks at Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden do not indicate any endorsement of him as a candidate. He reiterated his willingness to present the exact same speech at a rally for VP Kamala Harris if given the opportunity, showcasing his commitment to the content of his message rather than the individual.
“I don’t back off of what I said at Trump’s rally… not one word. I would still go to a Harris rally and say exactly the same thing,” he asserted confidently.
Variety also highlighted that during the interview, Piers Morgan pressed Dr. Phil on his political allegiances, but he remained tight-lipped about revealing his voting intentions. He emphasized the importance of unity, stating that regardless of individual preferences, it’s essential for all Americans to come together to support the elected leader.
“Whoever it is, we’re all Americans, and once that process runs its course and America picks a president. We have to get behind that person and support them. You have to respect the office of the president,” Dr. Phil concluded.
