From Zero by Linkin Park Tops Charts in 10 Countries
A huge round of applause is warranted for Linkin Park, whose remarkable new album From Zero has impressively debuted at No. 1 in a staggering 10 different countries, showcasing their global appeal and dedicated fanbase.
This much-anticipated comeback album, marking their first collaboration with the new vocalist Emily Armstrong, officially launched on November 15, creating significant buzz across the music industry.
It has successfully topped the album charts in countries including the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Australia, and New Zealand. Additionally, it made a strong entrance at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S., an impressive feat considering the competitive nature of the music market.
The K-pop sensation Ateez took the top spot on the U.S. chart with their latest release Golden Hour: Part.2, which coincided with the launch of From Zero. Nevertheless, landing at No. 2 is a remarkable achievement for a rock album in 2024, further solidifying Linkin Park’s enduring legacy in the music scene.
These charting accomplishments also signify a significant milestone for Armstrong as this is her first experience with such accolades.
In a heartfelt clip with Mike Shinoda, Armstrong expressed her disbelief: “That’s so insane, thank you so much.” The excitement was palpable as she added, “Thank you so f–king much. This is so surreal… It’s my first No. 1 so I’m freaking out obviously.”
Shinoda reflected on the moment, stating, “I don’t know what our last No. 1 was, but it was a very long time ago. This is very cool. It’s a big deal to all of us,” emphasizing the significance of this achievement for the band.
