Nick Cannon Discusses His Experience with Narcissistic Personality Disorder

In his conversation, Nick shared that he is still in the process of coming to terms with his diagnosis, yet he has already begun undergoing various mental health assessments. He stated, “I still don’t understand it all the way, but I kind of always wanted to get tested for it. I did a bunch of tests,” illustrating his proactive approach towards understanding his mental state.

Moreover, the popular host of ‘Masked Singer’ emphasized that he is embracing this diagnosis as a stepping stone for personal growth and self-improvement. He highlighted the importance of accepting one’s challenges and using them as a catalyst for positive change.

“I feel like there’s so many labels out there, but it’s like, to be able to embrace it and say, ‘Look, I’m healing. I need help. Show me.’ I just embrace mental health and therapy in such a strong way,” he says. “To be able to say I’m an example for others, but also be healing during the self-process works too,” Nick continued.

Nick Cannon first publicly discussed his diagnosis of narcissistic personality disorder during the November 8th episode of his podcast ‘Counsel Culture,’ where he conversed with Dr. Cheyenne Bryant.

“I’ve taken all the power away from the term narcissism cause I’ve researched it and I understand it. Call me whatever you want… now if I didn’t know what it was, then I have issue with it,” Cannon articulated during the insightful episode, showcasing his commitment to understanding and overcoming the stigma attached to mental health issues.

The creator of ‘Wild ‘n Out’ expressed his hopes to create joyful memories in the snow, as his children are eager for winter adventures.

“Everywhere from Aspen to Santa’s Village, all of those things. All the kids want to go to the snow. So a little bit of East Coast, a little bit of Aspen, a little bit of Big Bear,” Cannon elaborated, highlighting the importance of family bonding during the festive season.
