Exciting Thanksgiving Showdown: Peanuts Gang Hosts a Thrilling Episode of The Masked Singer
The competition is heating up as the remaining contestants in The Masked Singer Group C, including Royal Knight, Sherlock Hound, and Strawberry Shortcake, have successfully outlasted previous competitors like Bethany Hamilton (Macaron) and Drake Bell (Ice King). With the Peanuts-themed Thanksgiving episode, the stakes are higher than ever, as only one of these talented performers will advance to next week’s quarterfinals to take on the likes of Buffalos, Goo, and Wasp. Who will rise to the occasion and secure their place in the next round?
Without the safety of the Ding-Dong-Maintain-It-On Bell, which was previously used to save Goo, the remaining singers are under immense pressure. There’s no time for celebration as they have made it to the Group C Finals; it’s a high-stakes do-or-die situation. The pressure is palpable as they vie to avoid being unmasked in front of a national audience, raising the excitement for fans and contestants alike.

Each performance is critical, and the pressure to impress both judges and viewers is at an all-time high.

Which contestants will shine and who will be unveiled as the faces behind the masks? Did the beloved Peanuts characters inspire them to reach new heights, or will some performers be left saying, “Good grief!” as they face elimination?

(“You Make My Dreams Come True,” Daryl Hall & John Oates) Robin showcased incredible falsetto skills, impressively sounding more natural on the high notes than Rita did in her own vocal range. Overall, both performers brought an energetic vibe to kick off the evening, leaving the audience smiling and filled with joy. While the connection between the song and Thanksgiving or the Peanuts theme may be unclear, we’ll give them a pass for spreading happiness.

Clues & Guesses: As noted earlier, her latest clue package revolved around her relationship with her mother, mentioning how they used to sing loudly during the holidays while baking. However, her mother has since lost her voice due to stage fright, and Strawberry Shortcake hopes her journey will inspire her mother to start singing again.
She also shared that she had a chance to perform in a Thanksgiving parade, showcasing visual clues like a pen with musical notes, a cow in a ballet costume, and a stagecoach with horses. Her on-stage clue featured novelty mouse ears, which she explained were instrumental in her early career. Naturally, the mention of “mouse ears” evokes thoughts of Disney magic.
Last week’s clue package highlighted her connections to Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus, noting their shared dreams, similar paths, and experiences growing up in the spotlight. She mentioned that both she and Miley lent support to each other after navigating relationships with the same brothers, which led to heartbreak.
Visual clues included an apple, a “Banana Montana” clapperboard, and a shooting star. Her on-stage clue was a pair of red boxing gloves: one adorned with a blonde wig and the other with a marijuana leaf. “Miley has always been in my corner. She was with me when I made my debut,” Strawberry Shortcake explained.

Season 7’s Ringmaster, Haley Orrantia, introduced her friend as Strawberry Shortcake’s Masked Ambassador, dubbing her “a fan favorite.” She shared that they have been through some of Haley’s “biggest milestones” together.
Strawberry Shortcake expressed that she had always dreamed of performing as a headliner at a major music competition but had to settle for sitting on the sidelines until she received the call to open for “one of the most iconic ones.” She described that day as both sweet and a “slow burn,” but ultimately worth the wait.
Throughout her journey, visual clues included sunny sunglasses, a kitten, rainbows, hearts, Instagram photos, mushrooms, and an ice cream cone. On stage, her shirt read “Break a Leg,” and she remarked, “My breakthrough role showed the world my potential.”
Robin was chuckling at his own dad jokes when he connected the cow in a ballerina costume to guessing Kelsea Ballerini. Rita Ora speculated she might be younger, suggesting Hailee Steinfeld, while Ken made an even more far-fetched guess with Selena Gomez.
The internet’s favorite guess aligns perfectly with these clues. Both the mouse ears and the cow can be linked to the Disney Channel original movie Cow Belles, which marked the debut of Aly & AJ Michalka.
Earlier clues fit the narrative as well, with the kitten hinting at her role as Catra in She-Ra and her character with her sister Aly in Hellcats. Additionally, AJ previously dated one of the JoBros (in fact, Joe), which also aligns with the clues. Furthermore, there’s a connection to Hannah Montana, as she once mentioned that her sister Aly was offered that role before Miley secured it, while she was considered for Lilly Truscott.

Showcasing Royal Knight’s Performance
(“Vacation,” Madonna) Royal Knight didn’t fully challenge herself with this performance, leading to a lackluster delivery. It felt like she was someone who excels at karaoke but didn’t showcase the artistry we’ve come to expect from her prior performances. This was not the strong showing she needed to secure a win in these finals.
Clues & Guesses: Her Thanksgiving-themed clues centered around her three children, particularly her youngest who will be celebrating his first Thanksgiving. She shared her struggles with judgment and ridicule throughout her life, but now she cherishes her happily ever after with her children.
Visual elements included a wine bottle paired with a microphone (hinting at a podcast?), a boomerang, and an “It’s a Boy” baby onesie. Her on-stage clue featured a book titled “Bestselling Author.” “I act, I sing, I live life to the fullest, and I even wrote a bestselling book about it,” Royal Knight remarked.
In her latest clue package, Royal Knight revealed her journey through difficult relationships, expressing how she often blamed herself for the struggles. However, she eventually found her own “knight in shining armor,” who helped her emerge from the darkness. She never lost faith in love and has now found her guiding star, who affectionately calls her his “warrior.”
Visual clues included a slashed purple banner depicting a flaming heart, a fall bouquet, a sunset beach, a gumball machine, and a set of red scrubs. Her on-stage clue featured a Nashville road sign, which she explained, “Just like ‘Party in the USA,’ Miley and I would both prefer a Nashville party.”
