We instantly felt a bond because we are both genuinely kind-hearted individuals.” He appreciates Eliason’s unwavering support, stating, “Whenever I reach out and ask, ‘Hey Brett, can you mix something for us?’ he’s always quick to reply, ‘Send it over.’” This camaraderie is a testament to the supportive nature of the Seattle music community.

Another influential figure in Drop the Star’s journey is Barrett Jones, who is recognized for producing the self-titled debut album of Foo Fighters. Reidt reminisced about their early encounters: “Barrett had a small studio in Queen Anne, a vibrant area of Downtown Seattle, where we used to hang out and collaborate.” He noted that the neighborhood had a lively atmosphere, with a quaint coffee shop nearby and the iconic Tower Records, creating a unique hub for musicians.

During that period, they quickly became friends with Jones, who later produced and mixed their latest single, “Something to Fight For.” Reidt remarked, “Maintaining friendships with good people is essential; they remind you of what truly matters in life.” This sentiment underscores the importance of surrounding oneself with positive influences.
