The event took place at Texas Southern University, a historically Black university, where Scott, aged 33, and his charming 6-year-old daughter, Stormi, who donned a festive red Santa hat and a cozy white coat, distributed gifts to families in need just ahead of Christmas. Scott also included his siblings and parents in this noble effort, emphasizing the importance of family and community support during the holiday season.

Stormi made a delightful cameo in a video montage shared on the Cactus Jack Foundation’s Instagram account on December 23. The post highlighted that the foundation’s 5th Annual Winter Wonderland Toy & Food Drive successfully served over 1,000 residents of Houston at Texas Southern University, marking a significant milestone in the initiative. This event was conducted in honor of the Cactus Jack Waymon Webster HBCU Scholarship Program, which was launched in 2019 to support higher education for underprivileged students.

In collaboration with the Houston Food Bank, Scott’s foundation distributed over 2,000 toys and bicycles, as reported by People. The giveaway was not limited to just toys; it also included 200 pairs of exclusive Nike Cactus Jack sneakers, along with merchandise from the Houston Astros, Fanatics, Space Village, and more. Additionally, the event provided 1,000 bags of food to assist local families facing food insecurity during the holiday festivities.

This festive event featured a whimsical winter wonderland-themed park and included a surprise visit from Santa Claus himself. The joyous occasion was further enhanced by performances from rapper Don Toliver and Love Island USA star Serena Page, adding entertainment to a day dedicated to giving back to the community.

Earlier this year, the Cactus Jack Foundation took swift action to assist those affected by Hurricane Beryl in Missouri City, Texas. In partnership with the Houston Food Bank, the foundation organized an emergency relief drive that provided vital supplies such as water, ice, food, and other essentials to residents in Texas communities severely impacted by the devastating storm. This disaster caused extensive flooding and widespread power outages, affecting over three million Texans and highlighting the urgency of community support in times of need.
