School of Rock Cast Reunites for Wedding Celebration
Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, who gained fame as child actors in the 2003 comedy School of Rock starring Jack Black, have recently celebrated their love by tying the knot, with several of their former co-stars joining in the joyous occasion. The wedding was a delightful reunion that brought back fond memories of their time on set, highlighting the strong bonds formed during the filming of this beloved movie.
In School of Rock, Jack Black’s character hilariously impersonates a substitute teacher, transforming a typical classroom into an exhilarating rock band experience. Hale portrayed Marta, affectionately nicknamed “Blondie” by Black’s character, while Massagli took on the role of Frankie, known as “tough guy,” who played the essential role of security for the band. Their characters contributed to the film’s memorable ensemble, promoting teamwork and musical talent.

Rumors of a romantic relationship between Hale and Massagli first emerged in 2021 when an observant fan shared their connection on TikTok. However, Massagli later clarified in an interview with Inside Edition that their relationship actually began back in 2016. The pair had remained in touch with their former cast mates through a group chat, and it was during Hale’s move to Florida that Massagli reached out, leading to a casual lunch that blossomed into a deeper relationship filled with love and support.
“I vividly remember my first audition for School of Rock,” Massagli reflected during the 2021 interview. “I walked in, and the talented blonde girl next to me was called in first. She began singing show tunes that just filled the room with energy. It was incredible to witness her talent and passion right from the start.” Their shared experiences have undoubtedly enriched their bond over the years.
The couple took a significant step in their relationship by getting engaged in October 2024, further solidifying their commitment and love for one another.
