Anitta has officially withdrawn from her scheduled performance at the highly anticipated 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. She shared this announcement with her dedicated fans via X on Thursday, March 20, expressing her disappointment and gratitude.
“I was really looking forward to captivating the audience at Coachella this year, but due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I regret to inform you that I won’t be able to perform. I am truly thankful for the festival’s invitation, their understanding, and ongoing support,” the talented singer expressed in her heartfelt message.
She further expressed hope, stating, “I aspire to have the chance to join you all in the future and create unforgettable memories together during a live performance.”
This year would have marked Anitta’s third exhilarating performance at the renowned festival in Indio, California. She initially graced the stage in 2022, delivering a mesmerizing sunset set that featured surprise guest appearances from popular artists like Saweetie and Snoop Dogg. In 2024, she made a memorable return by joining Peso Pluma for a dynamic rendition of their hit “Bellakeo.”
Although she has stepped back from Coachella, 2025 is shaping up to be an exhilarating year for Anitta. Her highly anticipated Netflix documentary, titled Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta, promises to reveal her personal journey and vulnerabilities. While the release date remains unconfirmed, the press release indicates that it is “coming soon,” generating excitement among her fans.
Last year, Anitta embarked on her groundbreaking first North American tour in support of her latest album Funk Generation, which received a Grammy nomination in the best Latin pop album category earlier this year, solidifying her impact in the music industry.
