Anya Taylor-Joy UK GQ 2024 Heroes Issue

The British edition of GQ (or any edition of GQ for that matter) does not specifically command our focus right here on theFashionSpot every single month. British GQ?s 2024 annual Heroes Issue, however, has caught the eye of members of theFashionSpot forums, given the fact Anya Taylor-Joy is welcomed as cover star. The British-American actress, fresh from the cover of American ELLE and the 2024 Cannes Film Festival red carpet, poses for photographer Jack Bridgland and is styled by Lisa Jarvis. In the unconventional cover image, the star of George Miller?s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga requires a contact (on a Motorola Razr) although donning a Givenchy coat and a pair of glasses from the Maison Margiela x Gentle Monster collab.

Read beneath the reactions of theFashionSpot?s forum members:

?What a joke! They wasted Anya Taylor-Joy! This looks like King Kong Magazine. Not even worthy of Paper Magazine,? exclaimed forum member TomBlanksFullFatMiuMiu.

?GQ chose the worst picture for the cover,? pointed out kokobombon.

Vogue28 wasn?t purchasing it either, commenting: ?My absolute biggest pet peeve with magazine covers is when subjects aren?t looking out toward us readers! This would?ve been a thousand times more engaging if Anya Taylor-Joy was looking out toward us. A thousand times better!?

Not absolutely everyone, on the other hand, was left so dissatisfied. ?I don?t think Anya Taylor-Joy is the ideal subject for GQ but I love the cover,? admired WAVES.

?Gorgeous and over the top,? applauded ivano.
