Here’s What Barack Obama Wrote About Stimulus Checks & Donald Trump
On Monday, October 28, the previous president took to X, previously generally known as Twitter, to share a prolonged message.
“I often hear folks say, ‘Donald Trump sent me a check during the pandemic,’” Obama wrote. “I want to make sure you understand this: Congress sent you a check. By the way, Joe Biden also sent you a check during the pandemic, just like I gave people relief during the Great Recession…”
As his message continued, Obama defined he and President Biden didn’t put their “names on it” as a result of “it wasn’t about feeding our egos or advancing our politics, it was about helping people.”
Ultimately, Obama concluded his message by telling viewers to not give Trump “credit” for the pandemic stimulus checks.
“And don’t give him your vote, either. There’s only one candidate in this election who cares about you, and that’s Kamala Harris,” he wrote.

Barack Obama isn’t the one one talking on Trump. According to TMZ, Melania Trump appeared on ‘Fox & Friends’ on Tuesday, October 29, and spoke about her husband’s response to her stance on abortion. As The Shade Room beforehand reported, amid his latest run for president, Trump has advocated for abortion rights to be managed by particular person states versus people.
Earlier this month, Melania seemingly shocked the general public when she launched a video explaining that she believes in defending “individual freedom,” per CNN.
While showing on ‘Fox & Friends,’ Melania shared that her husband already knew her place on the matter.
“My husband knew my position — my belief, since the day we met,” Melania defined. “So it was not a big surprise for him. Right? I guess other people — the world didn’t know my stance. But he was not surprised at all. He knew about it.”
