“We back up! lol. 1st photo is today at 205 pounds,” the 44-year-old actor stated on Instagram on March 21. “The 2nd photo shows me at 235 pounds for a film titled Josephine. Then in the 3rd photo, I weighed 172 pounds for another project called Roofman.” His candidness about his weight changes brings attention to the physical toll that acting can take.

Tatum, who filmed Josephine in mid-2024 and worked on Roofman in the fall, expressed heartfelt gratitude for his genetic advantages and acknowledged the support from his team who played crucial roles in helping him achieve his diverse body goals. “I’m so grateful for my chef/nutritionist/witch. I’m also thankful for my trainer. I couldn’t have made these extreme changes in my weight without your guidance and expertise,” he penned in his post.

Reflecting on the challenges, he humorously mentioned, “But I won’t be taking on any more fat roles, haha.
