Billy Corgan Reveals Collaborators for Black Sabbath Show

Renowned rock icon Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins is set to join an impressive lineup of rock and metal legends at the highly anticipated reunion show featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath this summer. In a recent interview, Corgan elaborated on the details of his performance, shedding light on the notable musicians he?ll collaborate with during this monumental event.

While Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne headline the event, the concert will also feature an array of powerhouse acts including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Anthrax, and Mastodon. These iconic bands promise to deliver an unforgettable night of music, celebrating the legacy of rock and metal.

Additionally, a supergroup comprising individual artists from these legendary bands will perform classic hits from both Sabbath and Osbourne. In a conversation with NME, Corgan revealed his excitement about participating in the concert and shared insights into which fellow musicians he?ll be joining on stage.

?Black Sabbath has always held a special place in my heart. Their music has been a significant part of my life since childhood. I?ve had the rare opportunity to collaborate with Tony Iommi on a solo project and have interacted with Ozzy on multiple occasions. The chance to be part of this lineup is surreal, and I still find myself in disbelief about it,? Corgan expressed, reflecting on his admiration for the band.

When questioned about his potential collaboration with Tool?s Danny Carey and Tom Morello, Corgan clarified an intriguing detail shared by Sharon Osbourne, indicating that it will actually be Adam Jones from Tool performing alongside him. ?Tom had this visionary idea of uniting ?The Illinois Boys? for a special performance, which I find incredibly exciting. I have immense respect for Adam and his artistry, and I?ve known Tom for over three decades, making this collaboration even more special,? he added.
