?I was diagnosed with cancer, then I injured my back. I lost 60 lbs. due to the numerous medications I was taking, including opiates and painkillers,? Tarek shared with the TLC cameras. ?I lost my way, lost who I was. I simply wasn?t the best husband or father. You know, I take responsibility for my actions. It wasn?t just me, but it was me.?

?I feel like I?m in a tornado all the time and I just can?t get out of it,? she expressed through tears. ?Everything since 2016 has been extremely tough and overwhelming. There are so many good things in my life, but the bad ones have taken a significant toll on me.?

?I feel like I try to hide it and pretend I?m not affected,? she added. ?But then I end up doing more reckless things to try to make myself feel better, which leads to getting involved in situations that I know aren?t right for me.?
