Bring This Icon Back Bad, Says Tamra Judge on RHOBH

Even though Tamra Judge is no longer a cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County, she continues to express her thoughts and insights on various shows within the franchise. During her engaging podcast with Teddi Mellencamp, titled Two Ts in a Pod, Judge revealed her views on who should be brought back. Instead of discussing her own series, she focused on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show that Mellencamp previously participated in. In a recent episode, Judge candidly shared her perspective regarding the show’s current direction and needs.

Judge believes that Lisa Rinna, who was part of the series from 2014 until her departure in 2022, should make a grand return. Rinna has publicly stated that she feels happier since leaving the show, but Judge strongly feels that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills would significantly benefit from her presence once again. According to Judge, Rinna’s unique energy and presence are essential for revitalizing the show.

“I’m going to say that they need Lisa Rinna back bad,” Judge expressed emphatically, noting that the show is missing the kind of vibrant energy that Rinna and herself bring. “We’re like the no bullsh*t people that just get to the point and say how they feel,” she elaborated. “We articulate what everyone else thinks but often doesn’t say aloud. But it’s not being said. That’s the critical aspect of the show that is lacking at the moment.”

Judge further discussed the dynamics of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in the aftermath of Rinna’s exit. She suggested that Dorit Kemsley attempted to fill the void left by Rinna’s outspoken demeanor, yet Judge remarked that “it’s not landing well.” Throughout the last season, Kemsley has made efforts to confront Kyle Richards and Sutton Stracke over various issues, including allegations that Richards was being overly friendly with her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, which led to significant tensions. Moreover, Kemsley found herself embroiled in a heated exchange with Stracke that stemmed from a joke about her drinking habits.

Critics have pointed out that Kemsley often appears self-centered, with some cast members, such as Garcelle Beauvais, even suggesting that Kemsley’s reactions can be racially insensitive. In contrast, Rinna was known for her straightforward and combative approach, having had notable confrontations with figures like Kim Richards. This honesty and willingness to engage in conflict is what many viewers believe Kemsley lacks, leading to perceptions that her confrontations come across as more self-serving. Although Judge believes that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills would benefit from Rinna’s return, it seems that Rinna herself does not feel a need to return to the show at this time.

Fans can revisit Rinna’s memorable moments in previous seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, showcasing her impactful presence on the series.
