After years of teasing that her debut record was on its way, Normani’s Dopamine lastly arrived on June 14 — total with collaborations from Gunna, Cardi B, James Blake and a lot more. The star shared a celebratory post on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Thank you jesus. thank you jesus. thank you jesus. Have really been over here all morning doing my best to find the words to articulate my gratitude for everyone that has endured with me throughout this process and who has continued to believe in me.”

She continued, “This album was legit one of the hardest things in life for me over the years. literally can’t even entirely verbalize my appreciation in this moment because of how overwhelmed my heart is in the most magical way possible. ahhhhh my thoughts are obviously all over the place lol imma try this again tomorrow hahaha.”

Upon seeing the post, Camila Cabello shared a sweet comment, writing, “Putting out a project is vulnerable and hard and you are doing it beautifully ! Congratulations on your first album and many more to come !!!!!!!!”

Normani then responded, “@camila_cabello thank you so much for this this seriously means a lot and so v proud of you. you’re next, let’s goooo.”

Last week, Lauren Jauregui also showed like for her 5H pal. “AHHHHH HAPPY DOPAMINE DAY BI—ESSS!!!” she tweeted, “LETS GO MANI.”

Since going solo, Normani has hit the Hot 100 chart four times with the songs “Love Lies” with Khalid and “Dancing With A Stranger” with Sam Smith every single reaching the best 10. Released in 2021, her lead single “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B charted as properly, peaking at No.14 and staying on the chart for 20 weeks.
