“El Amor De Mi Herida” achieves the top position on the Latin Airplay chart despite experiencing a slight 3% decrease in audience impressions in the U.S. The song amassed an impressive 8 million impressions on Latin radio stations during the week of March 7-13, as reported by Luminate. This achievement is a testament to León’s enduring appeal and the strong connection his music has with fans across diverse demographics.

This latest success marks León’s third No. 1 hit following his 19th appearance on the Latin Airplay chart. The talented singer from Sonora, Hermosillo, previously achieved notable success with his collaboration “Según Quién,” featuring Maluma. Remarkably, his longest-running chart-topper lasted four weeks at the No. 1 position from December 2023 to January 2024, two years after his first No. 1 hit “Llorar y Llorar” with Mau y Ricky, which claimed the top spot for one week in 2022.

Although León has secured just his third No. 1 on Latin Airplay, he has built a reputation as a radio hitmaker over the past five years. Out of his numerous entries, nine have successfully reached the coveted top 10. His most recent success was “Alch Sí,” a collaboration with Grupo Frontera that peaked at No. 3 in March 2024, further demonstrating his consistent presence in the charts and his ability to resonate with listeners.

Additionally, León’s breakout single “Me La Aventé” achieved a remarkable No. 6 position on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart back in 2019. Throughout his career, he has achieved a total of 13 entries in the top 10, with seven of those hitting the No. 1 position, including the current chart-topper “El Amor De Mi Herida.” This remarkable success highlights León’s talent and consistency in the music industry, as he enjoys a second week at the top of the charts.

“El Amor De Mi Herida” is featured on León’s fifth studio album, Palabra De To’s, which also contributed to his third No. 1 on Regional Mexican Albums last December. The creation of this compelling song involved the collaboration of talented songwriters Alejandra Zeguer, Johan Sotelo, and Omar Robles, showcasing the creative synergy behind León’s successful music that continues to captivate audiences.
