Cause of Death Revealed for Amen Singer Casey Chaos
The cause of death for Amen frontman Casey Chaos has been officially disclosed.
During the weekend, the band announced the heartbreaking news that the talented musician passed away at the age of 59 through a heartfelt post on social media. In a further update, photographer Dean Karr, a close friend of Chaos, revealed the circumstances surrounding his death on his social media page.
According to Karr’s post, Chaos’ mother discovered his lifeless body in his home located in Laurel Canyon on Friday, December 20, after he did not respond to knocks at the door. She had traveled from Florida to spend the Christmas holiday with him, only to find him unresponsive when she used her spare key to enter the house.
“Upon entering, she found Casey sitting on the floor, leaning against the sofa with his head tilted back. He had succumbed to a massive heart attack,” Karr explained. “Over the past few years, Casey had been grappling with significant heart problems, poor circulation, and elevated blood pressure.” This tragic health battle ultimately led to his untimely demise.
“Despite this loss, we mourn the passing of an extraordinary man, musician, friend, and son. Casey embodied authenticity in the music industry, proving that there are no rules for a true rock icon!” Karr continued. “In addition to his work with Amen, Casey also played bass for Christian Death alongside Rozz Williams and Rikk Agnew. His musical journey included contributions to bands like Disorderly Conduct and Scum.” This legacy will undoubtedly resonate with fans for years to come.
