In this compelling narrative, she courageously shares her experiences, including the profound trauma she faced following Boss’s tragic death by suicide on December 13, 2022.

In discussing her memoir, she expressed to PEOPLE, “It gave me more of a focus and more of a purpose, and I really hope I can be an advocate and a voice to people that feel alone or left behind.” Holker emphasized her desire for readers to understand that life continues beyond loss, which is why she titled the book This Far; it signifies that this moment is not the end, but rather the beginning of a new chapter in her life. However, her announcement was met with some backlash, as critics accused her of revealing personal details in the aftermath of Boss’s passing.

In response to the criticisms, she took to Instagram on January 8, 2025, to clarify her intentions: “To fans of Stephen and our family and friends, I want to be clear that my only intention in writing the book is to share my own story as well as part of my life with Stephen to help other people.” She acknowledged the difficulty in understanding the events surrounding Boss’s death, stating, “Just like you, I never really knew what happened, and even as I am trying to put the pieces together I will never really know.”

The first daughter of Allison, Weslie Fowler, is currently 16 years old and was born from a previous relationship. She’s such a good kid,” during an interview with Jennifer Hudson in 2022. In August 2024, Holker shared insights into their close relationship, emphasizing mutual support: “We lean on each other in our high moments, but also our low moments, when we’re really emotional or triggered or going through something.” She expressed gratitude for their strong communication and understanding.

Weslie is passionate about soccer and is currently in her senior year of high school, where she continues to excel both academically and athletically.

Meet the Talented Maddox Laurel Boss

Maddox Laurel Boss, the first child born to tWitch and Allison, graced the world with his presence in 2016. Now at the age of 8, he has already shown a natural affinity for dance, as his father shared during an exclusive interview with HollywoodLife in 2017. He remarked, “He just wants to be moving. Truth be told, he’s mine and Allison’s son so that’s kinda where we get that from.” Maddox enjoys frequent dance parties at home, where music is always playing, creating an environment that nurtures his creative spirit.

On Maddox’s 8th birthday in March 2024, Allison took to social media to celebrate, saying, “Happy Birthday MADDOX… 8 years old! This kid lights up the world. He has the most beautiful spirit that lifts everyone up around him, so full of energy and love. So proud of you! Allison and tWitch welcomed their youngest child, Zaia Boss, who is currently 5 years old, in November 2019. In a touching Instagram post, Holker shared the joyous news of Zaia’s birth, describing her as a “healthy beautiful angel” while announcing her name. On November 3, 2024, the Dancing With the Stars star celebrated Zaia’s 5th birthday with a loving Instagram tribute: “It’s My babygirl ZAIAs BIRTHDAY today! She is 5 going on 20. I am so proud of how far she has come. My angel has a heart of gold and the scream of a lion, and I am completely obsessed with her!”
