Chloe Troast Opens Up About Her Exit from ‘Saturday Night Live’
Chloe Troast is wanting again at her time on Saturday Night Live.
The 27-year-old comic appeared on one season of the NBC sketch comedy collection as the one new featured participant for season 49.
While accepting a Club Cosmo Award from Cosmopolitan and UTA Next Gen, Chloe opened up about not being requested again for SNL‘s landmark fiftieth season.

“There are not a lot of people in this world that can relate to you when you lose a job like Saturday Night Live, besides maybe Adam Sandler, Jenny Slate, Michaela Watkins, John Cusack, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Robert Downey Jr., Billy Crystal — but no way you know their names,” Chloe joked. “Even so, I felt broken.”
Chloe then went on to share how Molly Kearney – who joined SNL for season 48 and in addition didn’t return for season 50 – helped her get by way of her exit.
“Who better than my ex-dressing-room-roommate to call me, get me out of bed, and help me see the forest through the trees,” Chloe stated. “Literally, they helped me get out of the city and I spent a month in nature. Touched grass. Gained some perspective. SNL was my dream, and now I have a lot of time to dream new dreams.”
