And the winner of Claim to Fame is…

The ABC competitors collection’ third season ended with a bang Aug. 28 by revealing 4 jaw-dropping celeb kinfolk we by no means noticed coming.

During the primary half of the two-part finale, contestant Shane was eradicated after fellow contender Mackenzie appropriately guessed his iconic member of the family was Oscar-winning The Godfather star Marlon Brando.

“Marlon’s my grandpa,” Shane shared with the remaining hopefuls. “I grew up my whole life living with him. Spent some time with him, was very fortunate.”

That left Mackenzie, Adam and Hud to battle it out one final time for the $100,000 prize. But after Adam gained the bodily problem, he obtained the benefit of the ultimate guess of the evening—and he took a shot at exposing Mackenzie’s celeb relative, who turned out to be singer Trace Adkins.

As the nation music legend shared in a video message upon her elimination, “Mackenzie Lynn Adkins is my daughter. Congratulations on getting as far as you did and I’m proud that you are my daughter.”

And despite the fact that she did not win, Mackenzie had no regrets about her sport play.
