Unraveling the Miller Gardner Tragedy: Recent Developments on the Teen’s Cause of Death
The luxury Costa Rican hotel where Miller Gardner tragically passed away has released an official statement addressing the incident.
Just two days following the heartbreaking announcement from former Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner and his wife Jessica Gardner regarding the unexpected loss of their 14-year-old son, the Arenas Del Mar Beachfront & Rainforest Resort, where the family was enjoying their vacation, extended their heartfelt condolences.
In their statement issued on March 25 to People, a spokesperson for the hotel expressed, “We are deeply saddened by this loss, and our hearts go out to the family during this incredibly difficult time.” They emphasized that “the factors that led to this tragic incident are unknown, and we are fully cooperating with authorities as they conduct their investigation.”
The resort further reinforced their commitment to guest safety by stating, “We remain dedicated to supporting our guests and staff, prioritizing their well-being and safety, while respecting the privacy of those affected by this unfortunate event.”
Additionally, the hotel has denied any responsibility regarding the illness experienced by the four members of the Gardner family after dining at a nearby restaurant on March 20, just hours prior to Miller’s untimely passing.
The resort’s representative clarified, “The family did not dine at any of Arenas Del Mar’s restaurants for lunch or dinner the day before the incident.” They also noted, “On March 14th, the hotel underwent an inspection by the Health Ministry, which resulted in a passing score of 98.5 out of 100.”
