Deadpool &amp Wolverine director Shawn Levy is reportedly becoming courted to direct the next Avengers film for Marvel Studios.

As Deadpool &amp Wolverine stands prepared to save the summer season box workplace, Marvel Studios might be seeking to director Shawn Levy to save the Avengers as nicely. Deadline has heard that Levy has been provided Michael Waldron‘s script for the next Avengers movie, and while no decisions have been made, it’s probable the studio might be eyeing him to direct the film.

Deadline adds that Marvel is “still planning to meet with other directors while they wait on a decision from [Levy].” However, he’s got some huge projects on his slate. Even if Levy does not finish up directing the next Avengers film, I’d wager that he absolutely has a future at Marvel, specifically as the studio appears to have a lot of faith in Deadpool &amp Wolverine.

Marvel reportedly desires to get all the things in order so they can start off shooting the next Avengers film in 2025. Deadline’s sources say much more than 60 MCU characters, like Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, Simu Liu, and Karen Gillian, could reprise their roles in the film. It’s also stated that the film will be significantly much more of an ensemble rather than quite a few characters major the group. There’s also the matter of Kang the Conqueror.
