Creed Plays Live for First Time in 22 Years at Tour Opener

At the iconic Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the celebrated band Creed launched their highly anticipated Are You Ready? Tour, sharing the stage with renowned acts 3 Doors Down and Mammoth WVH. This exhilarating event marked the beginning of a thrilling series of performances as the headliners took a brief hiatus after concluding their Summer of ’99 tour on September 30. Fans can look forward to an exciting journey across the U.S. and Canada that extends into early December, culminating in a spectacular New Year’s Eve concert in Las Vegas to usher in 2025.

During their performance in Oklahoma City, Creed captivated the audience with a powerful set of 15 songs, showcasing a fresh lineup that strayed from their summer tour repertoire. Notably, the band played “Freedom Fighter,” a track from their Weathered album, for the first time since 2002, marking a significant moment for both the band and fans, especially as it was bassist Brian Marshall‘s inaugural performance of the song with Creed. Additionally, “Faceless Man,” originally from their Human Clay album, was omitted from the setlist, replaced by the only track from Full Circle, “Rain,” offering a unique twist to the concert experience.

The concert was a visual feast, featuring an impressive display of pyrotechnics that added an exhilarating layer to the performance, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the night. Fans were treated to not just a musical journey but a fully immersive experience that highlighted the band’s commitment to delivering unforgettable performances. With the electrifying energy of the crowd and the stunning visuals, it was a night to remember for all in attendance.
