Results from Round Two:
In a decisive victory, AC/DC’s Back in Black triumphed over Phil Collins’ No Jacket Required, capturing a remarkable 84% of the votes. (Previously, in round one, Back in Black outperformed Talking Heads’ Remain in Light with an impressive score of 86% to 14%.)
Ozzy Osbourne’s album Blizzard of Ozz achieved victory against Bon Jovi’s Slippery When Wet, securing 56% of the vote. (In round one, Osbourne bested David Bowie’s Let’s Dance with a solid 68% to 32% margin.)
U2’s critically acclaimed The Joshua Tree emerged victorious over Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the U.S.A., receiving 54% of the votes. (In the first round, Bono and his band triumphed over Iron Maiden’s Powerslave, winning 59% to 41%.)
