Ex-1017 Rapper Enchanting’s Cause Of Death Revealed
The explanation for loss of life of former 1017 rapper Enchanting has been revealed, two months after she handed away.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office shared on Friday (August 23) that 26-year-old rapper (actual identify Channing Nicole Larry) died resulting from an unintended overdose of oxycodone and benzodiazepines.
Oxycodone is an artificial opioid, whereas benzodiazepines are a gaggle of depressant medicine generally used to deal with nervousness, insomnia and seizures.
Rumors of Enchanting struggling an overdose shortly circulated following her loss of life, though her household urged the general public to cease speculating.
In an announcement on social media confirming her loss of life, they wrote: “On behalf of Channing Nicole Larry aka Enchanting we are deeply saddened to announce the death of our sweet and beloved daughter.
“She was so much to so many but she was our daughter. She lived her life with grace and blessed so many with friendship, laughter and love.”
Her household added: “We also appreciate everyone’s respect of our family’s privacy as we continue to navigate through this difficult loss. The cause of death has not yet been determined.”
Enchanting handed away on June 11 following stories that she was in an intensive care unit.
The Shade Room, citing the rapper’s crew, attributed her loss of life to “a reported overdose” after a member of her administration crew allegedly informed the outlet that Enchanting was affected by withdrawals.
“She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried,” the rep stated.
Upon listening to the information, 1017 boss Gucci Mane took to social media to share his grief, writing: “So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant @luvenchanting.”
Enchanting launched two initiatives on the Atlanta-based label, her 2022 debut No Luv and its follow-up Luv Scarred/No Luv (Deluxe). Her hottest track was “No Luv,” a collaboration with Gucci, Key Glock and fellow 1017 signee Big Scarr (who additionally died from an unintended overdose in 2022).
