Ex-1017 Rapper Enchanting’s Family Refutes Overdose Rumors
The family members of rapper Enchanting has spoken out in response to rumors that the up-and-coming artist died of an overdose, affirming that an official trigger of death has however to be determined.
On Thursday (June 13), the family’s 1st public statement was posted to the 26-year-old’s Instagram stories. In addition to expressing their grief, Enchanting’s loved ones also took the chance to shut down rumors about what lead to her untimely death.
“On behalf of Channing Nicole Larry aka Enchanting we are deeply saddened to announce the death of our sweet and beloved daughter,” the statement started. “She was so much to so many but she was our daughter. She lived her life with grace and blessed so many with friendship, laughter and love.
“We also appreciate everyone’s respect of our family’s privacy as we continue to navigate through this difficult loss. The cause of death has not yet been determined.”
Enchanting was signed to Gucci’s imprint in 2020. According to The Daily Mail, she was nevertheless signed to 1017 as lately as early 2024, although the most current project she released on the label was a deluxe version of her 2022 album No Luv titled Love Scarred/ No Luv (Deluxe), which dropped in February, 2023.

In the comments of Gucci Mane’s posts, several critics seemed to blame him for her passing, as they described the poor track record of several of his 1017 signees. And although his wife, Keyshia Ka’Oir, previously known as him out for that extremely situation, she came to her man’s defense in the comments.
