According to a report from Deadline, Samuel Goldwyn Films has secured the U.S. distribution rights to the exciting new adaptation of Red Sonja. Along with the distribution news, a striking first-look image has been released, which beautifully captures Matilda Lutz in her full, authentic costume, complete with the signature metal bikini that fans have come to associate with this legendary character.

The official description of Red Sonja highlights a gripping narrative: “Captured. Chained. Forced to fight for survival.
