She expressed, “This has been going on forever. I’ve got about 47 million stories similar to this,” indicating the pervasive nature of the problem. Beckinsale emphasized that often, when individuals speak out, they face significant repercussions. “On the whole, you’re f–ked. If you mention it, you’re f–ked. It’s supposed to be that you absorb it, and somehow, then you’re the homie. That’s got to stop,” she stated, calling for a change in how such matters are handled.

Although Beckinsale does not have a personal relationship with Blake Lively or Glen Powell, she expressed her gratitude towards Lively for bringing attention to these ongoing issues.
